A UPS aircraft crashed close to Muhammad Ali International Airport in Louisville, Kentucky, on Tuesday night, inflicting accidents and sending a plume of fireside and black smoke into the sky.

Officials from a number of companies are responding to the crash, the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department wrote on X.

Police described the location of the crash close to Fern Valley and Grade Lane as an “active scene with fire and debris,” with a number of accidents reported.

“At this time, we have not confirmed any injuries/casualties,” the corporate wrote in an announcement.
