The M6 in Cumbria is closed northbound between J42 and J43 (Carlisle) because of an incident which occurred on Wednesday at roughly 11.30am. Cumbria Police, Ambulance and the Air Ambulance had been alerted to an incident involving a light-weight items automobile the place the motive force had a medical episode.
A stretch of the motorway is closed northbound whereas Cumbria Police stay on the scene. Traffic was briefly held southbound too, to permit the air ambulance to land safely.
