House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) dubbed himself the “King” of impressions in Congress as he defined simply why he so usually mimics President Donald Trump to fellow Republicans.

“We try to be lighthearted, especially in these really tense times,” Johnson stated on the most recent episode of “The Katie Miller Podcast,” hosted by Katie Miller, the spouse of Trump White House deputy chief of workers Stephen Miller.

“When you can drop a Trump impression in the middle of the tension, everybody kind of laughs a little bit and lightens up,” Johnson defined.

“It turns out to be a great tool,” he added.
