National Highways has revealed a critical collision involving two vehicles that occurred at round 5.30pm at present.

All emergency companies stay on the scene.

Their assertion reads: “The M6 in Cheshire is closed northbound between J21 and J21A near Warrington due to a collision.

“At approx. 17:30 a collision involving 2 vehicles was reported to Cheshire police.

“Police, Fire, ambulance and National highways resources were dispatched to scene and are now in attendance.

“Delays are possible on strategy to the closure and diversion routes.”
