Top US negotiators vying to finish the battle in Ukraine met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday in high-stakes talks occurring as Moscow pressed battlefield advances. Putin, who acquired US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and particular envoy Steve Witkoff within the Kremlin, signalled earlier that his forces had been able to battle on to attain Russia’s preliminary battle objectives.
