The buy of weapons of battle is mostly reserved for States. However, with out non-public funding, protection industrial capacities could be seized up. In France, the arms sector has 9 massive worldwide teams, 4,500 SMEs/ETIs together with 1,000 strategic, thirty billion euros in turnover and 220,000 staff. Faced with rising geopolitical perils, BITD wants a stronger public-private partnership.
