Outlander’s eighth season has revealed the inclusion of a Scottish legend for its closing chapter, which is ready to grace our screens in 2026 and can eventually resolve a serious thriller, stories the Daily Record.

Lennox’s involvement represents something of a return to roots for Outlander, which remains fundamentally a Scottish production despite the storyline’s shift to North Carolina. Scottish musical legend Lennox rose to fame through her collaboration with Dave Stewart in the 1980s as one half of Eurythmics.

Their most celebrated tracks include There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart) and Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).

From the 1990s, she pursued a solo career whilst championing political causes, donating earnings from her music to organisations such as Greenpeace and Amnesty International.

Outlander enthusiasts flocked to the comments beneath the video to express their excitement, with the official Starz account declaring: “late entry for our “most listened to” music of the yr.”
