Gavin Newsom Compares Trump To Ruthless Tyrant From Film — And It’s A Hoot | EUROtoday

Reacting to Trump’s announcement of a four-day “Patriot Games” athletic contest that includes one younger man and one younger lady from each state and territory, Newsom taunted the president on his personal account and on his press staff’s.

The Democrat, who’s within the dialog for a presidential run in 2028, used a meme from “The Office” to underline the similarities between Trump’s plan and the dystopian “Hunger Games” guide and film collection, by which a boy and woman are chosen from each district to struggle to the demise till one is left standing.

“Corporate needs you to find the differences between this picture and this picture,” the captions reads with facet by facet photographs of Trump and the movie’s icy President Snow (performed by Donald Sutherland).

“They’re the same picture,” Jenna Fischer’s Pam from “The Office” seems to reply.

“May the odds be ever in your favor,” the governor wrote, echoing a citation from the movie.
