A person has been arrested on suspicion of homicide after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed to dying in London.

Metropolitan Police officers arrested 22-year-old Abdel Dedour on Boxing Day.

It adopted a two-week manhunt and public enchantment launched after Adam Henry was fatally stabbed on Islington’s Westbourne Road.

Adam was stabbed round 1pm on 9 December, police stated.

Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene and Adam was taken to hospital the place he died.

Alongside Dedour, three males and a lady, aged between 18 and 47, have been detained for aiding an offender.

The girl, aged 47, was additional arrested after an assault on a police officer whereas one of many three males, aged 39, was additional arrested for home violence and driving offences.

All 5 stay in custody, detectives stated on Saturday.

The Met stated Adam’s household are being supported by specialist officers.

Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo, who’s main the investigation, stated: “Our thoughts remain with Adam’s loved ones throughout this unimaginably difficult time.

“There is no place for senseless acts of violence on our streets – and those responsible for such crimes should be brought to justice.

“My dedicated team have worked tirelessly over the last few weeks.”

Tsidi Winion, 20, of Handyside Street in Camden, was charged with homicide and possession of an offensive weapon on December 15 and faces trial subsequent 12 months.

In an announcement shared by the Met after Adam’s dying, his household described {the teenager} as “good natured and loyal”.

They stated he had many pursuits and was “always there with a smile and cheeky sense of humour”.

“He was a loving son, brother, nephew, grandson, friend and we will never recover from the loss and not having him in our lives,” his household stated.
