Anthony Joshua’s driver has been charged after a crash in Nigeria which injured the boxer and killed two of his shut pals, police have mentioned.

Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, 46, was charged on the Sagamu Magistrate Court on Friday (2 January).

Prosecutors have charged Mr Kayode with inflicting loss of life by harmful driving, reckless and negligent driving, driving with out due care, and driving and not using a legitimate driver’s licence. The case has been adjourned till 20 January.

The boxer was taken to hospital on Monday after being rescued from the wreckage of a automobile crash in Nigeria wherein two of his staff members had been killed.
