Sir Keir Starmer has rejected calls to sentence Donald Trump’s shock takeover of oil-rich Venezuela, saying the UK would “shed no tears” in regards to the finish of Nicolas Maduro’s regime.

And Reform UK chief Nigel Farage claimed the US’s “unorthodox” army operation in Venezuela might show a deterrent to future Russian and Chinese aggression.
