Speaking with FRANCE 24’s Mark Owen, James J. Townsend Jr, Senior Advisor on the Atlantic Council, says that the presence of US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner on the Ukraine peace talks in Paris was ‘crucial’ in mild of developments in Venezuela, to assuage allies’ issues in regards to the US’ dedication to Ukraine, by highlighting ‘the prosperity side’ of a ceasefire for each American firms and the Ukrainian folks.
