In Bordeaux, an investigation opened after the invention of a swastika sprayed on a girls’s assist heart | EUROtoday

The Bordeaux public prosecutor’s workplace introduced on Wednesday January 7 that it had opened an investigation after the invention of a swastika on the doorway plaque of an affiliation welcoming girls in issue, sufferer, for the second time, of acts of vandalism.

The investigation into “damage or deterioration of the property of others committed due to race, ethnicity, nation or religion” was entrusted to the interdepartmental path of the nationwide police (DIPN) of Gironde, specified the prosecution.

“Six months after the vandalization of our plaque, the Gisèle-Halimi reception and listening center was once again targeted by acts of racist and anti-Semitic damage”deplored the Association for the Reception of Women in Difficulty (Apafed) in a press launch.

A criticism was filed Tuesday, she mentioned, denouncing “acts (…) serious, hateful and totally unacceptable which (…) aim to intimidate a place of protection, listening and support dedicated to women and children victims of violence”.
