MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The investigation into the deadly capturing of a girl by an immigration officer in Minneapolis shouldn’t be overseen solely by the federal authorities, two of the state’s main Democrats stated Sunday.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and U.S. Sen. Tina Smith each stated in separate interviews Sunday that state authorities ought to be included within the investigation as a result of the federal authorities has already made clear what it believes occurred.
