NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte mentioned on January 12 that the alliance was taking steps to make sure the safety of the arctic area together with Greenland. But Rutte refused to just accept the concept the alliance is in a second of disaster resulting from Trump’s repeated threats to take the autonomous island, which is a part of the dominion of Denmark. US Secretary of state Marco Rubio is ready to fulfill with diplomats from Denmark and Greenland on January 14.
