A council-run pre‑cherished faculty uniform store in Peterborough is asking for extra donations due to a major rise in demand, organisers say.
The Second Chance Uniform Shop, based mostly on the Roots and Rise neighborhood unit within the Queensgate Centre, has recorded about 1,000 guests because it opened in November.
According to Peterborough City Council, which runs the initiative, the weeks main as much as Christmas have been significantly busy, with 375 guests in the course of the busiest week in December. The unit continues to assist about 100 households per week.
