The MaPrimeRénov’ power renovation support system, suspended at first of January, will probably be relaunched “upon promulgation” of the finances, “in a few days”and open to all households, introduced the Minister of Housing, Vincent Jeanbrun, Thursday February 5.

MaPrimeRénov’, restricted to probably the most modest in September and suspended in January for lack of finance regulation, ought to reopen for all households after remaining adoption of the 2026 state finances, in line with the federal government’s promise.

“I said very clearly that if there was no budget, there would be no counter [de demande de subvention] MaPrimeRénov’, well, the good news is that that’s it, there is a budget so as soon as the law is promulgated, which will happen in a few days, complete reopening of MaPrimeRénov'”announced Vincent Jeanbrun on CNews and Europe 1. “This is good news for the French and professionals in the sector”he estimated on X.

3.6 billion euros budget

The budget planned in 2026 for this aid for the energy renovation of housing is 3.6 billion euros, an envelope equivalent to that of last year, but which costs less for the State thanks to increased use of energy saving certificates (CEE, aid offered by energy suppliers).

With these funds, the National Housing Agency (ANAH) plans to finance 150,000 isolated renovation works (changing a boiler or windows) and 120,000 overall renovations of housing (68,000 in condominiums and 52,000 individual housing). This objective of 120,000 renovations is, however, already reduced by the 83,000 files in stock at the end of 2025.

Vincent Jeanbrun will visit a France Rénov’ space in Yvelines on Friday, an information and support agency for renovation projects.
