Hillary Clinton didn’t pull any punches in her fiery response to Rep. James Comer’s repeated efforts to tie her and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Comer, who leads the House Oversight Committee, has been attempting to get the Clintons to testify about their relationship with the disgraced financier and convicted intercourse offender.
Last month, members of the committee ― together with 9 Democrats ― voted to carry the Clintons in contempt for defying its subpoena, which led the couple to agree to take a seat for depositions on Feb. 26 and 27.
But the previous first girl, senator and secretary of state referred to as out Comer on social media Thursday.
In an X put up, she stated that she and her husband had “engaged Republicans on the Oversight Committee in good faith” and instructed them what they knew about Epstein below oath.
“They ignored all of it. They moved the goalposts and turned accountability into an exercise in distraction,” Clinton wrote.
