Locals are being suggested to keep away from St George’s Place in Canterbury, as firefighters deal with a large blaze that has damaged out on the deserted Odeon cinema.

Thick plumes of smoke have been seen throughout Canterbury on Saturday (February 14) afternoon, main Kent Fire and Rescue Service to advise all close by residents to close their home windows and doorways as crews work to comprise the blaze.
