Man fatally shot by Secret Service after tried break-in at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago | EUROtoday

The Secret Service has shot and killed a person who tried to interrupt into President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago house, the company introduced Sunday morning.

Trump is in Washington, D.C. this weekend, in line with his schedule, however usually spends the weekend at his Florida residence.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, a person in his early 20s was shot by brokers after getting into a “secure perimeter” on the residence, the Secret Service stated in an announcement.

He was carrying what gave the impression to be a shotgun and a gasoline can, in line with the company.

Agents and a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confronted the intruder and pictures have been fired by legislation enforcement, who weren’t injured within the incident, the company stated.

At a press convention Sunday morning, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw stated the intruder had managed to get contained in the internal perimeter of the property, by the north entrance.

Bradshaw stated officers confronted the suspect and informed him to drop the fuel can and his shotgun.

“The only words we said to him was ‘drop the items,’” Bradshaw informed reporters. “He put the gas can down and pointed the shotgun at the officers.”

He held up a grainy photograph of the suspect carrying a shotgun.
