Man dies after skydive in Devon, police say | EUROtoday
A 49-year-old man has died after a skydive in Devon, police say.
Emergency providers have been known as to Dunkeswell Aerodrome, Honiton, at round 1 p.m. Saturday because of issues for the welfare of a skydiver.
The man was pronounced lifeless on the scene and his household have been knowledgeable.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police stated scene guards stay in place and inquiries are ongoing into the incident.
The spokesman stated: “Police were called to Dunkeswell Aerodrome just before 1 p.m. today, Saturday 28 February, following concerns for the welfare of a male skydiver.
“Emergency services attended the scene, where sadly a 49-year-old man was confirmed deceased.
“His family have been informed.”
Mother-of-four Belinda Taylor, 48, from Totnes, Devon, and Adam Harrison, 30, from Bournemouth, Dorset, died whereas skydiving within the space of Dunkeswell Aerodrome in June final 12 months.
The web site is situated within the Blackdown Hills and advertises actions together with skydiving, wing strolling and helicopter coaching.
