The FBI is investigating a potential act of terrorism in reference to the capturing which left three lifeless, together with the attacker, and 14 injured, which broke out simply earlier than 2am in a widely known bar within the leisure district of Austin, Texas.

According to the New York Post, citing “some sources”, the shooter was a former New York City resident “probably motivated by US attacks on Iran.

The man, a US citizen originally from Senegal, had a Koran in his car and clothes described as Islamic clothing when he opened fire in Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden, near the campus of the University of Texas at Austin, according to sources familiar with the investigation reported by the Ny Post, according to which the attacker has some history.

“Obviously it is still too early to determine the exact motivation, but there were clues on the subject and in his vehicle that indicated a potential connection to terrorism,” Alex Doran, acting special agent in charge of the FBI’s San Antonio office, told reporters in an update Sunday. Three of the people hospitalized are in critical condition, officials said.
