Two suspicious gadgets had been discovered on Saturday outdoors Gracie Mansion, the official residence of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Officers had been on scene on the time for a scheduled demonstration close to the residence, the NYPD advised The Independent.

They had been alerted round noon to the gadgets and took two “persons of interest” into custody, police stated.

“No injuries or property damage have been reported at this time,” a division spokesperson added.
