Iran warfare: Israel’s president defends assaults on Iranian oil depots | EUROtoday

The assaults on Iranian oil storage amenities are controversial. Israel’s President Herzog offers causes for this and defends the method.
Israeli President Izchak Herzog defends the controversial assaults on oil depots within the Iranian capital Tehran. It is oil that’s saved by the army and that the Iranian authorities makes use of to finance terrorist operations, Herzog instructed “Bild”. “It’s being taken away from the war machine because they’re using it to finance and, shall we say, to grease their own war machine.”
At the weekend, Israel’s air drive bombed and set hearth to grease depots in Tehran. Experts had warned of large, long-term environmental harm. The World Health Organization warned of the danger of contamination of meals, water and air.

We have to take a deep breath and get to the end result.” If the Iranian risk is eradicated, it might be like oxygen for Israel: “We can enable the entire system in the region to suddenly breathe again and develop further. That’s fantastic.”
Herzog: “Perhaps the last chapter of the war”
He went on to say he anticipated the warfare to alter “the entire configuration of the Middle East.” “It’s a connected war. It started on October 7th (2023), and in my opinion we may be reaching the final chapter of the war,” Herzog mentioned. The operation towards Iran is “a lesson for the world.” Cruelty have to be countered with loads of effort and power.
Herzog praised Chancellor Merz “for his very strong and clear words on Israel’s side.” Merz is “also on the side of America and the entire coalition that is now fighting against Iran in the Middle East.”
