Seven Disneyland staff have been hospitalized as a hazmat state of affairs unfolded on the fashionable California theme park Tuesday afternoon.

The staff have been taken to the hospital for “minor injuries” following an “unknown odor” in a backstage space close to the Star Tours attraction, the Anaheim Police Department informed The Independent.

Anaheim Fire and Rescue responded to the incident round 12:30 p.m. native time.

The Disneyland staff suffered from accidents “ranging from dizziness to shortness of breath,” Anaheim Police mentioned.

Disneyland officers mentioned a number of different staff have been handled by medical personnel on the park and later launched.

The mysterious odor got here from “building contractor materials,” in accordance with authorities.

Park guests have been cleared from onstage areas close to the place the incident occurred as a precaution, per Disneyland officers.

“Emergency personnel are clearing the scene now, and park operations have resumed,” Anaheim Police mentioned.

Star Tours is positioned within the Tomorrowland space of Disneyland. It’s a 3D Star Wars-themed trip that takes friends to locations from the media franchise.
