The International Space Station (ISS) has captured pictures of Russian missiles being intercepted by Ukrainian air defences.

The NASA pictures, which had been taken on 27 December, 2025, seem to point out Russian ballistic missiles being fired in the direction of Kyiv, in response to specialists who analysed the footage.

Two brilliant streaks might be seen crossing the body from the north-east in the direction of the capital earlier than disappearing amid explosions.
