An enormous moorland blaze has damaged out close to Greater Manchester, large flames and smoke seen for a number of miles. The hearth has erupted Scout Moor, between Ramsbottom and Whitworth.
Footage shared on social media present roaring flames and thick plumes of smoke filling the sky. Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service have rushed to deal with the blaze, together with crews from Greater Manchester. Residents as distant as Bury and Rochdale have reported seeing the hearth, in line with the Manchester Evening News. The cuase of the blaze is unknown. The Daily Express has contacted Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service for remark.
