Train providers to and from London Euston will probably be closely lowered over this Easter weekend attributable to main engineering works.

From Good Friday till Wednesday April 8, Avanti trains will begin and finish at Milton Keynes Central as an alternative of operating into London. During this time, Network Rail will probably be changing a key bridge, upgrading signalling, and finishing up infrastructure enhancements.

Passengers can use alternative bus providers between Milton Keynes and Bedford, the place they will connect with trains into London St Pancras.

Network Rail’s Jake Kelly stated: “Bank holidays are also among the least busy times on the railway, and the four-day period at Easter gives us a valuable opportunity to complete projects that simply can’t be delivered during a normal weekend.”

He added: “Passengers will see some changes and it’s a good idea for people to check before they travel.”
