Three youngsters have been arrested on suspicion of homicide after a 14-year-old boy was shot lifeless in south-east London.

Officers acquired experiences of a capturing on Lord Warwick Street, Woolwich, at about 3.40pm on Thursday, the Metropolitan Police mentioned.

Two boys, aged 14 and 16, and an 18-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of homicide.

The power had mentioned in an earlier press launch that the sufferer was a person, however on Friday confirmed he was a 14-year-old boy.

Detective Chief Inspector Lucie Card mentioned: “Our thoughts remain with the boy’s family and loved ones.

“We are aware of the concern that this incident will cause the local community.

“We have already made three arrests and our investigation continues at pace. An increased police presence remains in the area.

“I would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time, who has CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident or has information that could help my officers to come forward.”
