A wartime drama praised by movie followers as ‘highly effective’ and ‘fantastic’ is now out there to stream on BBC iPlayer.

The Eagle Had Landed options Michael Caine, Robert Duvall, Donald Sutherland and Jean Marsh, and has captivated movie lovers universally.

“Well made little struggle movie based mostly on the novel by Jack Higgins. Last movie directed by Sturges is not so good as “The Great Escape” or “Magnificant Seven” however its not dangerous. Duval, Sutherland, Caine and Wiliams all do nicely whereas Hagman acts like he is in a unique film solely,” noted another reviewer.
