The sufferer alleged that Cllr Fraser, who now sits as an unbiased at Brent Council, advised her: “Don’t report it to the police; I’ll deal with it. Leave it with me. I don’t want you to be further bruised by their negative response.”

“Throughout, my focus has been on encouraging appropriate reporting, supporting those involved, and acting responsibly within the limits of my role in the community.
“Given that this matter has been topic to a legal course of, I’m not in a position to remark additional on particular particulars.”
The Labour Party told the victim on April 1 that her complaint was considered by the National Constitutional Committee (NCC) at a hearing on March 18.
It added: “Following that listening to, the NCC decided that the allegations have been upheld and that the suitable final result is that Cllr Fraser be expelled from membership of the Labour Party.
“Cllr Fraser has been informed of the outcome this afternoon.
“The case is now closed and we wish to thanks to your endurance throughout this course of.”
In a statement dated March 17, Cllr Fraser announced her decision to quit the Labour Party with immediate effect.
The victim described the councillor as “somebody who jumped earlier than they have been pushed”.
