SINGAPORE/TOKYO, April 14 (Reuters) – A 3rd Iran-linked tanker was getting into the Gulf by way of the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday on the primary full day of the U.S. blockade on vessels calling at Iranian ports, transport knowledge confirmed.
U.S. President Donald Trump introduced the blockade on Sunday after weekend peace talks in Islamabad between the U.S. and Iran failed to succeed in a deal.

As the three vessels transiting the strait weren’t heading to Iranian ports, they don’t seem to be coated by the blockade.
Panama-flagged Peace Gulf, a medium-range tanker, is heading to Hamriyah port within the United Arab Emirates, LSEG knowledge confirmed.
The vessel usually strikes Iranian naphtha, a petrochemical feedstock, to different non-Iranian Middle Eastern ports for export to Asia, Kpler knowledge confirmed.
Prior to this, two U.S.-sanctioned tankers handed by the slender waterway.
Handy tanker Murlikishan is heading to Iraq to load gas oil on April 16, Kpler knowledge confirmed. The vessel, previously generally known as MKA, has transported Russian and Iranian oil.
Another sanctioned tanker, Rich Starry, could be the primary to make it by the strait and to exit the Gulf for the reason that blockade started, knowledge from LSEG and Kpler confirmed.
The tanker and its proprietor Shanghai Xuanrun Shipping Co Ltd had been sanctioned by the United States for coping with Iran. The firm couldn’t be instantly reached for remark.
