Former Trump White House legal professional Ty Cobb on Thursday defined why he believes Donald Trump’s psychological acuity has “definitely accelerated” in its decline since his first time period, when Cobb served within the White House.

Cobb, now a vocal critic of his former boss, informed MS NOW’s Ari Melber that current controversies — together with Trump’s assaults on the late filmmaker Rob Reiner and former particular counsel Robert Mueller and his feud with Pope Leo XIV — “just shows you how crazy this man is.”

“When I was there, his narcissism would be on display because he would passionately want to do something that seemed out of bounds but people like Gen. [John] Kelly and Gen. [Jim] Mattis, Nikki Haley, were there to talk him out of it,” he defined.

But “they don’t have those guardrails there today,” he lamented.

Cobb argued there “should be some concern that people are using this, using his incapacity, to manipulate decisions,” suggesting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did that “in connection with the decision to go into Iran.”

Trump’s “vocabulary has shrunk, he’s resorted to profanity and threats, totally impulsive,” he added.

Cobb additionally drew a stark distinction between former President Joe Biden’s “benevolent grandpa losing his memory” and Trump’s “malignant narcissism.”
