Maggie Haberman Flags The Major Problem With Trump’s Iran War Thinking Right Now | EUROtoday

The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman advised on Wednesday that Donald Trump seems more and more annoyed together with his Iran struggle and is now keen to maneuver on.

But she then highlighted a serious drawback for the president.

“He’s clearly frustrated. He’s voicing that almost every day,” Haberman advised CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, who’d requested Haberman for her “sense of where the president’s head is at” because the battle drags on into its eighth week.

Haberman, who has reported on Trump for years, mentioned: “My sense is the president would like to just be done with this, and he has other things he’d like to focus on.”

“But wars are intractable,” she identified.

Haberman mentioned Trump’s personal phrases provide the clearest perception into his pondering, pointing to his current Truth Social posts and a prolonged CNBC “Squawk Box” interview.

But Trump’s public proclamations might not replicate these of the opposite events concerned in negotiations to finish the struggle, she mentioned.

“I think there is a difference between how he feels and what he is thinking and what clearly how the Iranians are viewing things, as well as how the Pakistanis are viewing things,” Haberman mentioned, including that key figures together with Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff and Vice President JD Vance are concerned in ongoing efforts to interact with intermediaries.
