A Florida lady was arrested after investigators say she ran over and killed 11 child geese as a result of she was upset a few mess they made within the yard.

Beverly Sasberry, 64, is dealing with felony animal cruelty costs after she deliberately ran over 11 child ducklings along with her automotive, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office mentioned in a Facebook put up.

An unidentified couple informed authorities they witnessed a lady in a crimson Honda Accord purposefully drive over a gaggle of child ducklings in Jacksonville on April 25.

The witnesses mentioned they watched the girl flip her automobile round “multiple times to hit them,” the sheriff’s workplace mentioned in a press release.

“The couple confronted the woman a few days later, and she told them she intentionally killed the ducks because she was upset they made a mess in her yard,” the assertion added.

The couple reported the incident to the police and gave investigators footage of the girl driving over the birds.

Police recognized Sasberry because the proprietor of the crimson Honda Accord. Authorities pulled her over final Thursday, April 30, and after interviewing her, she was arrested on 11 counts of Cruelty to Animals, which is a felony.

Kyle Hutchinson, who’s a neighbor of Sasberry’s, informed Action News JAX that he noticed the entire horrific ordeal.

“It was a little after 10 a.m. on Saturday, I see a truck in mainly my neighbor’s yard, coming into mine, driving through the bushes and driving away,” Hutchinson mentioned. “After further inspection, there were dead ducks everywhere, and ducks running away, and she turned around and sped off trying to him them again.”

Hutchinson mentioned that when he confronted Sasberry concerning the incident she informed him that she was upset the geese had pooped in her yard.

“She just kept saying that she just wants to kill more, pretty much,” Hutchinson mentioned. “It’s literally what she said a few times. ‘I’ll do it again. I’ll do it again.’”

Hutchinson informed the information station he filed a report with police. It was not instantly clear if another neighbors additionally filed stories concerning the incident.

“We do not take animal cruelty cases lightly,” the sheriff’s workplace mentioned, urging others who witness somebody committing a criminal offense towards an animal to report it to authorities.
