The official Michael Jackson film, titled Michael, was set to launch in cinemas on April 18, 2025.

However, Lionsgate has now delayed the official biopic by six months to now launch on October 3, 2025.

The upcoming blockbuster stars the King of Pop’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, within the title position.

Meanwhile, he’s joined within the forged by Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Miles Teller and Colman Domingo.

Director Antoine Fuqua additionally penned the script with John Logan, whereas Bohemian Rhapsody’s Graham King is producing.

Back in July, Fuqua spoke on the movie’s progress and stated: “Why I wanted to make it is, Michael. Michael was a big part of my life growing up, big influence on my career, an incredible artist — but he was a human being, and we’re exploring that. I’m very excited about it.”

The biopic can also be set to incorporate 30 songs, have a future time and can handle the kid abuse allegations in opposition to the star throughout his life and after his demise in 2009.
