A migrant survivor of a taking pictures at a French refugee camp stated he noticed his associates murdered by the “angel of death”.

Matin, a 25-year-old Kurdish migrant, stated “a guy came with a shotgun and showered us with bullets” throughout the assault on Saturday.

A 22-year-old French gunman shot useless two migrants and two safety guards on the camp in Loon-Plage, close to Dunkirk, with one other sufferer focused in a close-by city.

“Initially, we thought he would fire in the air and then he loaded the gun and aimed at us. We saw Azrael [the Islamic Angel of Death],” Matin instructed Sky News.

The two victims, named Hamid and Hadi, have been strolling together with their two associates, Rashad and Matin, when the assailant opened fireplace.

The group, all aged round 25, had simply been rescued from the English Channel by French police after their dinghy collapsed on the way in which to Britain.

He stated the group was rescued after falling into the ocean with out life jackets and had returned to land to get dry garments from a charity as they have been “dying of cold”.

“The gunman came and, all of sudden, drew a shotgun. We saw death with our own eyes. It was God’s will that we survived. In one day, we saw death twice,” he stated.

He stated the gunman fired round 15 bullets and his good friend Hamid was hit within the head as he and Rashad managed to cover.

A 22-year-old man claiming to be the murderer handed himself to the close by Ghyvelde police station at 5pm native time on Saturday. Authorities discovered three extra weapons within the suspect’s automotive, French media reported.
