The Gambling Commission has charged 15 folks – together with former MP Craig Williams and ex-CCHQ campaigning boss Tony Lee – over bets positioned on the timing of the 2024 normal election.

Mr Williams was amongst various folks linked to the Conservative Party reported to have made bets on the election date, which was referred to as by then-prime minister Rishi Sunak.
