A father hit the house owners of a New Jersey golf course with a wrongful dying lawsuit after his son was struck by lightning throughout a golf match this summer season and died quickly after.

The criticism accuses Crystal Springs Resort of failing to warn golfers of a storm that was brewing as they performed within the 36-hole Ironman Tournament going down the day of the strike.

The Independent has contacted Crystal Springs Resort for remark.

The course reportedly sounded warning alarms and horns to clear the inexperienced when the fast-moving storm started to develop.
