The European Union has proposed adjustments to a 2023 regulation that successfully banned the sale of latest inside combustion engine vehicles from 2035. Instead of reducing CO2 emissions by 100% from 2021 ranges, carmakers could be required to cut back them by 90%, which means a small-scale manufacturing of petrol or hybrid vehicles might proceed.
