On the gates surrounding the Teisseire manufacturing unit, in Crolles (Isère), the portraits of the workers are displayed in black and white like so many false obituaries. These workers are among the many 205 threatened with dismissal on the positioning, which brings collectively the historic manufacturing unit and the Teisseire headquarters with round 300 workers. On October 16, the Danish group Carlsberg, proprietor of Teisseire after buying the British Britvic at the beginning of 2025, introduced a significant plan to reorganize the syrup producer’s actions.

Since this date, the Isère manufacturing unit has been at a standstill, and the workers have engaged in a standoff with administration, which briefly transferred manufacturing from Crolles to Le Havre, to its subcontractor Slaur Sardet, a significant French producer of alcoholic drinks and syrups, as a part of a enterprise continuation plan (PCA).
