A homicide investiagtion has been launched after a person died exterior a block of flats. The alleged assault came about in Leeds on January 1.
Police had been referred to as at 8.14am to reviews of suspicious circumstances exterior Gargrave Court in Burmantofts. A person had allegedly attacked one other man who was mendacity on the ground.
The man was discovered by police with severe accidents and rushed to hopsital. He was pronounced useless a short while later.
A 51-year-old man has been arrested and brought into custody on suspicion of homicide. Detective Inspector Jodie Hayes, who’s investigating the incident, stated:“An incident of this nature will understandably cause concern in the local community, and an investigation is underway to establish how the deceased came to lose his life.
“Neighbourhood officers are patrolling the area to provide reassurance for residents, and I would urge people to speak with them if they have any concerns.”
