Back in September, Der Tiger had a quiet cinematic launch earlier than heading to streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Since its world debut on the streaming service on January 2, the brand new World War 2 motion thriller has hit No 1 on the movie chart throughout 15 nations and is at present at No 3 within the UK.
Retitled ‘The Tank’ in English, the movie follows one from the German perspective on the Eastern Front in opposition to Stalin’s Red Army.
David Schütter stars as Philip Gerkins, who’s ordered to steer the boys beneath his command of their Tiger tank into contested territory, to find Tilman Strauss’ Lieutenant Paul von Hardenburg.
The movie’s official synopsis reads: “Eastern Front, 1943: A German Tiger tank crew is sent on a dangerous mission deep behind the fiercely contested front lines. As they journey through the lethal no-man’s land, they must face both the enemy and their own inner demons.”
The Tank is streaming now on Amazon Prime Video.
