Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been compelled to “whittle” down a prized assortment as he prepares for his imminent transfer to Sandringham, it has been claimed. As a disgraced former prince stripped of his titles and ousted from his cherished 30-room mansion for extra modest lodgings, Andrew is now going through a big change in circumstances.

Andrew, whose affiliations with convicted intercourse offender Jeffrey Epstein have led to a catastrophic fall from grace, is about to depart his soon-to-be former dwelling, Royal Lodge, for non permanent lodging on Norfolk’s Sandringham Estate.

His eventual residence is anticipated to be Marsh Farm, one other Sandringham property at present present process renovations, in response to studies. The Mail’s Richard Eden means that his cherished assortment of teddy bears might not make the transition to his new dwelling.

Speaking to host Jo Elvin on the Palace Confidential podcast, he mentioned: “This is the 70-strong collection of teddies, which Andrew has accumulated over the years, and which he’s treasured, apparently. And it’s a big thing on how you order them and arrange them.

It would not be the primary time that Andrew’s assortment has made headlines. In December 2025, studies emerged that Andrew had discovered solace in his bears and had ” anthropomorphised them”.
