As outrage unfold over the federal government killing of two folks protesting the mass deployment of federal brokers to lure migrants in Minneapolis, Hannity attacked Democrats’ method to frame safety earlier than criticizing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement roundups at some job websites.

“Now, is ICE perfect? They’re not,” Hannity stated on his radio present. “Can they do a better job? They can. … Do I think that going into Home Depots and arresting people there is a good idea? I don’t.”

“If you’re working at a place, you’re not the immediate problem,” the Fox News host continued. “Eventually, we’ll have to deal with those people that didn’t respect our laws, borders and sovereignty.”

Targeting big-box shops like Home Depot, which was co-founded by the late Trump ally Bernie Marcus, has been a Homeland Security tactic for months. Immigrant laborers are recognized to congregate there to maybe get employed by contractors or owners buying there. Earlier this 12 months, White House adviser Stephen Miller, one of many anti-immigrant architects of the deportation plan, inspired ICE to concentrate on Home Depots and 7-Elevens.

“There’s gotta be a program where people get to come forward,” Hannity continued on his radio present. “I think they should then be given transportation home. They can get a check for, what, $2,000? And they can apply to come back in the country legally. We can vet them. We can do a health check on them and make sure they won’t be a financial burden on the American people. I think that’d be a more responsible, reasonable way to deal with that problem.”
