The draft finance legislation for 2026 was definitively adopted on Monday February 2, after the rejection of the 2 motions of censorship, the primary filed by LFI related to environmentalists and communists and the second defended by the RN. After the vote, Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu was delighted that France “finally” had a finances, the results of a “parliamentary compromise”.
