Sexual abuse lawsuit in opposition to former NC State coach grows to 31 plaintiffs | EUROtoday

Seventeen extra former male athletes from N.C. State have joined a state lawsuit accusing the Wolfpack’s former director of sports activities medication of sexual abuse disguised as medical remedy and of harassment, bringing the overall variety of plaintiffs to 31. He has forcefully defended Murphy in previous feedback, saying he has been falsely accused and there has but to be “one scrap of credible evidence he assaulted anyone.”

“Put simply, Robert Murphy did not do this,” Blum mentioned in an announcement after the September lawsuit.

Murphy, at N.C. State from 2012-22, is amongst 9 defendants named individually. Others are faculty officers accused of negligence in oversight roles.
