Speaking on the bipartisan Washington, D.C., occasion on Thursday shortly after Trump gave a rambling deal with, Rep. Jonathan Jackson (D-Ill.) provided a prayer for “the future of this nation,” and requested God to “lead this president into greater levels of compassion.”

During his deal with, the Republican president mentioned he didn’t know “how a person of faith can vote for a Democrat.”

The plea to Trump got here amid weeks of chaos in Minnesota on account of his administration’s immigration crackdown, with the president’s rhetoric serving to to sow discord.
