Ukraine battle: Why is a teen accused of burying his father ‘eight instances’? | EUROtoday

Multiple social media customers – lots of them pro-Russian accounts – have shared a photomontage of a teenage boy carrying portraits at a number of funerals, falsely claiming he’d buried “eight fathers” and that it was proof of Ukrainian “wartime staging” to rack up sympathy from Western media. In actuality, the images have been spliced collectively with out context, as the teenager is a volunteer at funerals in his village for slain troopers, a job he considers his “duty”.
