The CIA has launched a video urging Chinese authorities officers to work as spies for the US.

On Thursday (12 February), the intelligence company posted a video on its YouTube channel which includes a disillusioned mid-level Chinese navy officer who leaks secrets and techniques on his pc.

“Anyone with leadership qualities is bound to be subject to suspicion and ruthlessly eliminated,” the fictional officer within the video says in Mandarin.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe mentioned in an announcement that the company’s movies had already reached many Chinese residents and that it will proceed offering Chinese authorities officers an “opportunity to work toward a brighter future together”.
